Today’s landscape of birth is NOISY. All the bias, opinions, judgements, and unsolicited advice make it hard to actually hear YOURSELF or to know what YOU want in the midst of it all. The overall narrative of birth today can often make you feel less powerful than you are.

You don’t want to be just a number, a “standard protocol,” nor do you want to be told “what and how to do it.” At Empowered Births and Beginnings, we want to help you to know how to dialogue with your team in a clear, positive and collaborative way - knowing that YOU have the ultimate power of choice in each scenario. Meet Your Guide, Dawn.
I know how overwhelming pregnancy and childbirth can feel. I’ve been there.
My journey was hard, beautiful, and transformative. I learned so much about myself in preparation for birth, things that have helped me be the woman I am today. My own empowering journey from fear and overwhelm to power and trust is what sparked my desire to work with women and families, so that they could find their own way to an empowered birth.
Through my offerings of the Empowered Birth Series childbirth classes, Empowered Birth & Beyond Coaching, and Doula Support, my intention is that women feel supported, encouraged and empowered to trust themselves, to trust birth, and to lean in to the transformative experience that it is.
I believe every woman deserves to feel confident, powerful and at the center of her birth experience, and I'm SO happy you're here!
